Is your team aligned on their game’s vision?
Wouldn’t it be safer to know, rather than to assume?
Measuring Game Vision Alignment Workshop
The number one predictor of a successful team is ensuring that everyone on the team is aligned on their game's vision. Yet to date, there has been no reliable way to actually check this.
I created the Game Vision Alignment Check to offer a robust way to determine if the whole team are heading in the same direction, and if they are not, help put them back on track.
Workshop Purpose
The purpose of this workshop is to check if your team is aligned on their game's vision. If there are not aligned, we will pinpoint where the variation comes from. Having a single shared vision is the most important factor present in effective teams, and without it your team are unlikely to achieve their goal.
When Should We Check The Team’s Alignment?
A team’s alignment on their game’s vision can be checked at any point in development, from as soon as there is an idea or concept (pre-design), through to games which have been released but still being worked on (DLC, live games etc).
Team alignment is also intended to be iterative, even if your team were aligned at one point in time, it does not mean there are aligned today. Drift is natural and unavoidable, it needs kept in check.
Workshop Outline
This is a 1/2 day workshop.

Who Should Attend?
This is for everyone on the team. One of the main factors in successful teams is that everyone is aligned on the vision, no matter the role. Having said that, it's critically important that any team members in charge of creating or communicating the game's vision are present.
