Game Vision Alignment Check
The number one predictor of a successful team is ensuring that everyone on the team is aligned on their game's vision. Yet to date, there has been no reliable way to actually check this.
I created the Game Vision Alignment Check to offer a robust way to determine if the whole team are heading in the same direction, and if they are not, help put them back on track.

Studio Vision Alignment Check
Most games studios have a vision statement, a motivating description of where they want to be in 5-10 years. It is the function of studio leadership to steer the company to this destination, but is each person on the leadership team interpreting the vision statement in the same way?

Player Experience Alignment Check
In this workshop we will create a player experience questionnaire (PEQ) tailored to your game. This PEQ will be used by each member of the team during internal playtest sessions to create an aligned account of the player experience.
If a game’s vision is ‘Where are we going?’, then team playtesting is ‘Are we there yet?’, it’s how close the team is to their vision.

After-Action Review
An After-Action Review (AAR) is a scientifically-driven post-mortem. The approach used in this workshop offers significant improvements over the typical, ‘What went well, what should we change’ approach, which has been shown to be ineffective in driving change.
